Island to benefit from funds raised by choir

Two Manx forces charities will benefit from the sale of a CD.

The Military Wives Choir, which was formed for a BBC2 programme, is releasing a Christmas single.

The proceeds will be split between the Royal British Legion and the Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen and Families Association.

Fourteen hundred copies will go on sale on the Island on Monday.

Jim Kewin from the local branch of the SSAFA says money received will be spent on helping people in the Isle of Man who have been affected by serving their country (listen to audio file below):
