THE Steam Packet Company has cancelled today's sailings on and off the Island.
The 8.45am service to Heysham and return service to Douglas at 2.15 are off.
According to the company this is due to forecasted severe gale force nine winds which could reach storm force 10.
A decision on whether the 7.45pm sailing to Heysham and return sailing at 2.15am tomorrow (Wednesday) will be taken at around 5pm.
Passengers who are affected by these cancellations are asked to contact the Steam Packet reservations team on 01624 661661.
