Tonight's sailings off, tomorrow's in doubt says Steam Packet Company

by isleofman.com 12th December 2011

IT looks as though there is further disruption ahead for passengers planning to travel on and off the Isle of Man.

The Steam Packet Company has cancelled this evening's 7.45pm sailing to Heysham and the return sailing at 2.15am.

It's due to severe gales forecast for this evening.

Tomorrow's sailings are also likely to be disrupted or cancelled due to forecasted severe gale force nine winds which could even reach storm force 10.

The Steam Packet Company has said the master will make a final decision on the 8.45am and 2.15pm sailings at 7am tomorrow (Tuesday) morning.

The master will then make a further decision at 5pm as to whether the 7.45pm and 2.15pm sailings will run to schedule.

Any passengers due to travel on the Ben-my-Chree can contact the reservations team at the Steam Packet Company on 01624 661661.
