Did action against dog muck provoke vandalism?

The director of the Manx Wildlife Trust is furious after vandals attacked the visitor centre at the Ayres nature reserve.

Duncan Bridges says paint has been daubed all over the building in what he believes to be a malicious act, rather than a random one.

He thinks it could be in retaliation to the warden marking out areas where dog dirt is prevalent.

Mr Bridges says it's particularly irritating, as the place had recently been refurbished (listen to audio file below):
