Injury forces Manning out of dugout

In football the Isle of Man's national side will have to do without having their manager in the dugout for this afternoon's FA Inter-League Cup tie.

Kevin Manning was rushed to hospital last night after being hurt in an accident at home.

He was treated for a head injury and discharged, but has been advised not to take charge of the side when they face a Yorkshire Amateur League side at the Bowl.

Manx Radio's football correspondent Tony Mepham broke the news on Saturday Sport Preview this lunchtime:
