Birkenhead passengers to be re-routed to Heysham again

by isleofman.com 9th December 2011

PASSENGERS planning to travel to and from Birkenhead tomorrow (Saturday) have had their travel plans changed.

The Steam Packet Company has re-routed the service so that the Ben-my-Chree travels to and from Heysham.

It says the change is due to the recent cancellations and the high demand of freight which needs to be brought to the Island.

Passengers due to travel on Saturday's 8am sailing from the Isle of Man to Birkenhead will be offered coach transfers to Liverpool.

Coach transfers from Liverpool to Heysham will also be provided for passengers due to travel on the 2pm service. The coaches will leave Liverpool Pier Head at 11.30am.

The Steam Packet Company also re-routed the Birkenhead sailings to Heysham last weekend.

Passengers who wish to discuss their bookings can contact the reservations team on 01624 661661.
