STAFF at Simcocks Advocates in Douglas have put together a collection of their favourite recipes to raise money for the company's charity of the year.

The company has launched its own cook book which will be sold to raise money for the Isle of Man's children's hospice Rebecca House.

Among the recipes submitted are instructions for how to create beer and cheese soup, chicken jambalaya, spaghetti and bacon frittata and amaretto cup cakes.

Phil Games, the chief executive of Simcocks Advocates, said: "We have a number of staff who are very keen chefs and they were very happy to share their culinary talents for such a worthwhile cause."

Mary Doyle, the PR and marketing manager for Hospice, said: "I would like to thank all the staff for all their hard work for our children's hospice Rebecca House and very much look forward to trying all the delicious sounding recipes."

The cook book is available to buy from Ridgeway House on Ridgeway Street in Douglas priced at £3.
