ILS appoints new business development manager

THE ILS Group has appointed Richard MacNee as the group's business development manager.

 

According to the group Richard's appointment will play a vital role in developing ILS's expanding client base.

 

Richard will be responsible for managing the business development team and will be based in the Isle of Man.

 

He will also work closely with the company's heads of business in the British Virgin Islands, China, Dubai, Hong Kong, London, Portugal, Switzerland and South America.

 

Speaking about his appointment Richard said: "I'm delighted to be joining The ILS Group and look forward to leading the business development team in expanding and further developing ILS's already extensive product and service suite.

 

"I am fortunate to be joining such a respected company that prides itself on providing its clients with a top quality service and global solutions."  

 

Chris Eaton, chief executive of The ILS Group, said: "We are delighted to welcome Richard to The ILS Group.

 

"Richard's extensive experience will be of great benefit to ILS and will maximise results at our existing operations around the world and capitalise on various favourable development and business opportunities that currently exist in the industry.

 

"This is an important appointment which is a new position for The ILS Group and complements and fortifies our already strong senior management team."

 

Prior to his appointment Richard worked in the asset finance industry for more than 20 years in the UK, Isle of Man and Gibraltar. He has also worked in the fiduciary business for two years.
