TWO Manx cheeses have won accolades at the World Cheese Awards.
Isle of Man Creamery has announced that its grated mature cheddar took a silver award and its cracked peppercorn mature cheddar scooped a bronze award.
The World Cheese Awards took place last month at the BBC Good Food Show in London.
More than 2,500 cheeses were entered in the competition from 394 cheese producers around the world.
These were judged by a tasting panel of 200 international judges including Cathy Strange, a global cheese buyer for Whole Foods Market, and Ian Robertson, a leading Australian specialty cheese judge from Meribel Fine Foods.
Rob Evans, the sales director at Isle of Man Creamery, said: "This is a fantastic achievement for the creamery and it's great to see our new grated mature cheddar already winning awards.
"We are absolutely delighted to have won two awards at the prestigious World Cheese Awards which is a credit to everyone at the creamery."
