Appeal to reunite owner with benches in Castletown

by isleofman.com 8th December 2011

PEOPLE living in Castletown have been asked to check if their garden benches are missing.

Police say two wooden benches were found at Victoria Road School in the town on Monday morning.

They have been described as slated benches which are "fairly weathered". Both benches have high backs and arms.

Police say they believe the benches belong to a local resident and appear to have been "dragged" to the school.

The owner of the benches has been asked to contact PC Kelly Anne Wilkinson at Port Erin Police Station on 01624 832222.
