by isleofman.com 7th December 2011

An inquest has heard a former accountant from Douglas died from self-inflicted stab wounds to the stomach and neck.

The body of 54-year-old Tony Lace was discovered at his home in Orry Street, on Tuesday of last week (November 29).

Coroner John Needham heard Mr Lace suffered from clinical depression, and a pathologist who carried out a post mortem examination confirmed nobody else was involved in his death.

The inquest was adjourned to allow further investigations to be carried out.
