New auditors hold risk assessment workshop

by isleofman.com 7th December 2011

Douglas-based Evolution Accounting has been appointed internal auditor for Ramsey Commissioners and the Northern District Housing Committee.

One of the firm's first projects was to hold a risk assessment workshop with its new clients.

The event was aimed at pinpointing the specific risks the organisations are exposed to, with a discussion on their impact.

Evolution's Toby Smith said the session was of great value, giving the local authority, the housing committe, and the accountants the chance to consider in depth ongoing, and new risks.
