TT film inspires top riders

by isleofman.com 7th December 2011

TWO top short circuit motorcycle racers have shown an interest in racing at the TT after watching TT3D: Closer to the Edge.

The film has recently been released in 3D, Blu-Ray and DVD formats.

Martin Jessopp, who rode in the British Superbike series this year and will ride in World Supersport next year, said on his Twitter page: "TT3D mega film. Makes me wanna ride my bike so bad watching it and also makes me wanna be a newcomer next year."

He then tweeted Conor Cummins - who is one of the stars of the film - to say: "Awesome film mate. Well impressed. If only it was as easy as you guys make it look."

Jessopp is no stranger to road racing - he came second at the Macau Grand Prix last month.

Meanwhile Danny Webb, who this year raced in the 125cc World Championship for the Mahindra Racing Team, said in a recent tweet: "Watched the TT3D movie last night. Mega film, makes me wanna do it when my short circuit racing career is finished."
