MHK presses for leisure facility

A newly elected member of the House of Keys is vowing to keep up the pressure for an activity hall to be built in Marown.

Middle member Howard Quayle says he is disappointed after plans to build low cost halls in his constituency and Rushen were put on hold by the Department of Community, Culture and Leisure.

He says the schemes would have benefitted the construction industry and young people in the two areas:
