More misery for Steam Packet passengers

by isleofman.com 6th December 2011

THERE is more travel misery ahead for people trying to get on and off the Isle of Man by sea.

The Steam Packet Company has cancelled this evening's sailing to Heysham at 7.45pm and the return sailing at 2.15am tomorrow (Wednesday).

It says the sailings are off due to forecasted gale force eight winds this evening and severe gale force nine winds overnight.

Current forecasts also indicate that tomorrow's 8.45am sailing to Heysham and return sailing at 2.15pm may be disrupted or cancelled due to the weather.

A decision will be taken on these sailings by 7am tomorrow.

Any passengers wishing to discuss their bookings should contact the Reservations Team on 01624 661661.
