Father Christmas takes residence at Eden Park

by isleofman.com 7th December 2011

FATHER Christmas will be parking his sleigh and taking residence at Eden Park Garden and Lifestyle Centre throughout December.

He can be found at a magical grotto in the garden centre every Saturday and Sunday from 12pm to 3pm until December 18.

To help give all children who visit the grotto a present Father Christmas has also brought some of his elves from the North Pole to Douglas.

Imagination Station Isle of Man will also be accompanying him and providing festive face painting.

All proceeds from the event will be donated to Crossroads Caring for Carers - a local charity that provides respite and meaningful care to carers and those they look after.

Alex Wilson, event coordinator at Crossroads, thanked Martyn Riley of Eden Park for their support over the year, and said the event would be a "lovely way to end a year of fundraising between the two local organisations".
