RAMSEY MHK Leonard Singer will ask government if it was "necessary" to spend almost £60,000 on TT consultants in the House of Keys tomorrow (Tuesday).
He will ask Economic Development Minister John Shimmin MHK why his department decided to spend £57,000 on consultants who are researching to see if a TT world series is possible.
Mr Singer has three questions relating to motorsport tabled for oral answer - all of which will be answered by Mr Shimmin.
The Ramsey MHK also wants to know about the make up of the Motorsport Development Group including the total number of staff, whether they work on a full time or consultancy basis and what the total cost of employing them is.
Mr Singer will then ask for a more detailed breakdown of who works within the group, their individual salaries and their former occupations.
He will also ask the Economic Development Minister what contracts the department has with photographers who photograph the TT and other associated motorsport events.
Mr Singer wants to know if these contacts have been awarded to Island based photographers and whether off-Island photographers are required to have work permits.
North Douglas MHK John Houghton will also ask the Economic Development Minister about the coverage of the TT.
He will ask: "Whether the contractor for film rights for the TT is North One (now in receivership) and if so, what contractual rights North One has to the TT brand and how many unexpired years remain?"
There are 20 questions tabled for oral answer tomorrow (Tuesday) and seven tabled for written answer.
The House of Keys sitting will start at 10am.
