The mild weather so far this autumn is good news for hibernating species on the Island, such as hedgehogs and bats.
So says the Director of the Manx Wildlife Trust, Duncan Bridges.
It was confirmed recently that November on the Island was the mildest on record.
Mr Bridges says whilst the early and prolonged bitterly cold snap around this time last year wasn't necessarily a bad thing, this year's comparatively warm weather is welcome news for some animals.
