THE Isle of Man had what appeared to be its biggest all-star line up of all time last night when some of the best known faces in the world appeared on the stage of the Villa Marina.
But the audience needed to take a second look at the faces of Johnny Depp, Simon Cowell, Will Smith and David Beckham - they were impersonators from the successful ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ show The Chippendoubles.
Together with a brilliant ‘Ricky Gervais’ and ‘Mr T’, the act came to the Island for the annual party and awards ceremony for life assurance company Skandia International.
Their appearance went down a storm with the Skandia staff who later enjoyed seeing another familiar face - singer Danyl Johnson - but this time it was the real Danyl Johnson, who was one of the finalists in the 2008 X Factor competition.
He gave a truly stunning performance and was given a standing ovation by the Skandia staff. It was his second visit to the Island, having performed at the 2009 Bay Festival.
