No ferry services on Saturday

by isleofman.com 3rd December 2011

High winds in the Irish Sea are again playing havoc with the Steam Packet services.

The two scheduled sailings to and from Birkenhead today (Saturday) have been cancelled.

They had already been moved to Heysham, but are now off completely.

Passengers are being asked to contact the company's reservations department.

After last night's cancellations, the national newspapers from the United Kingdom are being flown in this morning, and will be about two hours later than normal in the shops.

The Ben-my-Chree is currently operating with one bow thruster, instead of the usual two.
