President extends open invitation to carol service

AN open invitation has been issued to members of the public who would like to attend the Tynwald Christmas carol service.

It will be held at St George's Church in Douglas on Thursday, December 15, at 1.05pm.

The President of Tynwald, Clare Christian MLC, has invited the public, public servants and the local business community to join members and officers of Tynwald at the service.

It will feature the Tynwald choir and brass quintet Sheean Prash.

The service is expected to finish at approximately 2pm.

It will be followed by tea, coffee and mince pies and there will be a retiring collection in aid of St George's.
