Call for more information about AIDS

The Isle of Man joined people around the world today (Thursday) in raising awareness of one of the most destructive pandemics in history.

World AIDS Day is a chance to highlight the real danger of HIV, as well as remember those that have fallen victim to the disease.

On the Island this evening there is a service in the Villa Marina Arcade, which will finish with the release of red sky lanterns.

Chairman of the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transexual Association Lee Clarke says the Isle of Man needs to be more educated about AIDS (listen to audio file below):
