Tips for safe online shopping

The Office of Fair Trading is warning online shoppers in the Isle of Man to 'stay safe' during the run-up to Christmas.

A report in the United Kingdom says more than two million people, the equivalent of around 2,000 people on the Island, are not taking basic safety measures to protect their personal details.

PayPal, which conducted the research, says shoppers need to be particularly careful when buying from websites they haven't used before.

Advice Centre manager at the Isle of Man OFT Andrea Tabb gave Graham Bell a few more tips:
