Extra bus services over festive period

by isleofman.com 1st December 2011

BUS Vannin will operate additional Night Owl bus services during this year's festive period.

The extra services will run on Thursday nights on December 8, 15 and 22.

This will be in addition to the regular Night Owl services on Friday and Saturday nights.

Richard Little, marketing manager for Isle of Man Public Transport, said: "Leave your sleigh at home - give Rudolph a rest and let the Night Owl take you home, running Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays including Christmas Eve through the Christmas period."

On Tuesday, December 27 and Monday, January 2, Bus Vannin will operate an enhanced Sunday schedule with additional journeys on the 4A, 5, 5A and 17.

The normal Sunday service will operate on Tuesday, January 1, and there will be no Manx Express service operating on Wednesday, December 28. A Saturday service will operate instead.

Further information about the bus services operating over the festive period can be found by visiting www.iombusandrail.com.
