THE winners of the Isle of Man Tourism Awards have been announced at an annual awards ceremony which took place this evening (Wednesday) at Mount Murray.

Residents and visitors were asked to nominate the best of the Island's tourism and hospitality sectors in nine categories.

The winners are as follows:

Best Customer Service:

- Isle of Man Cycle Hire

Best Hotel Accommodation:

- The Chesterhouse

Best Guest Accommodation:

- Croit-ny-Bane Farmhouse

Best Self-Catering Accommodation:

- Beach Cottage, Maughold

Best Eating Out Experience:

- Harbour Lights

Best Campsite and Hostel:

- Lower Ballacottier

Best Attraction:

- Isle of Man Trike Tours

Best Town/Village:

- Laxey

Best Event of the Year:

- Isle of Man Walking Festival
