HIGH winds have forced the cancellation of today's sailings to and from the Isle of Man.

The Steam Packet Company has cancelled the 8.45am sailing to Heysham and the return sailing at 2.15pm.

A decision on whether the 7.45pm sailing to Heysham will be made at 5pm. Current forecasts indicate that there may be disruption to this service.

According to the company weather forecasts are predicting severe gale force nine conditions today.
