Southern 100 continues support for two-stroke racing

by isleofman.com 28th November 2011

THE Southern 100 will continue to support 125 and 250 two-stroke racing and has included the classes again for the 2012 meeting.

In a statement issued today, the club, which also organises the Manx Telecom Post TT Races and the Pre-TT Classic meeting, said the 125 bikes will race alongside 400s and the 350 bikes alongside the 650 SuperTwins.

Race secretary George Peach said, “The two-strokes have been part of the Southern 100 for many years and competitors have supported us throughout and provide excellent racing and entertainment, so we are keen to keep the classes alive as long as we receive the support of the current riders.”

The Steam Packet Southern 100 takes place next year between July 9th and 12th.
