by isleofman.com 28th November 2011

POLICE are appealing for information after a vehicle crashed into a wall in Ballabeg causing "considerable damage".

It happened overnight between Saturday, November 26 and Sunday, November 27, opposite Arbory Parish Hall.

The crash also caused minor damage to an adjacent bus shelter.

PC Mark Langley said: "This collision has left considerable damage to a stone wall - the debris of which presented a significant hazard to both pedestrians and other road users.

"I would urge anyone with any information regarding this collision to please contact me at Port Erin Police Station."

It is believed that a dark blue vehicle was responsible for the damage but left the scene without reporting the incident. Police say it is likely that this vehicle will have noticeable front end damage.

Anyone with information should contact PC Langley on 01624 832222.
