A PORTABLE generator has been stolen from a secure trailer in Colden Plantation near Injebreck in Braddan.

The theft happened sometime between 1pm on Thursday, November 24 and 10am on Friday, November 25.

Police say the person responsible has entered an area of the plantation which is presently closed to the public while staff from the Department of Environment, Food and Agriculture deal with an outbreak of tree disease.

The make of the generator is unknown.
