STRONG winds could affect sailings to and from Heysham today (Monday).

The Steam Packet Company has said tonight's sailings are subject to disruption and cancellation.

A decision will be taken at 5pm as to whether the Douglas to Heysham service at 7.45pm and the return sailing at 2.15am will go ahead.

Winds are expected to reach 60 miles per hour overnight according to Ronaldsway Met Office.
