The owner of Bolton Wanderers is leading the local tributes as football mourns the death of Gary Speed.
Isle of Man resident Eddie Davies says Speed served the club with great distinction during four years as captain and was the consummate professional.
The Wales manager was found dead at his home near Chester yesterday (Sunday) morning, after apparently taking his own life.
