AN aircraft operating a Manx2.com flight from the Isle of Man suffered a burst tyre on landing at Blackpool this morning.
The incident happened at around 11.40am.
A statement issued on behalf of the company said the Let-410 aircraft landed safely and all nine passengers were disembarked without incident by Blackpool Airport staff.
An additional aircraft was flown to Blackpool carrying a spare tyre and an engineer.
The additional plane was used for a scheduled flight from Blackpool to the Island.
