Future of Market Hall in the balance

A decision on the Market Hall on North Quay, Douglas needs to be made soon.

That's the view of leader of the borough council David Christian, who says losses on the building are mounting and maintenance costs are ongoing.

For some years, empty stalls have been a common sight, and a survey has begun to help councillors decide whether the time has come to consider an alternative use:
