Manx-based eGaming software company Playtech says it still hopes for a premium listing on the London Stock Exchange by the end of the year.
The firm, based in St George's Court in Upper Church Street, Douglas, says it was told in March it didn't meet the requirements for such a listing, because a joint venture with William Hill Online had made up more than 25 per cent of its earnings over the last three years.
But Playtech's board says it's confident it can meet the conditions by the end of this year and is working towards applying to the United Kingdom Listing Authority.
Playtech also says it earned €165.2 million in the nine months to the end of September, a rise of more than 28 per cent on 2010's figures.
The company says the rise is thanks to growth in its Italian poker and casino products, as well as improvements in poker, bingo and video betting.
