Elderly woman suffers injuries after incident involving two dogs

POLICE are investigating after an elderly woman was knocked to the ground by two dogs.

 

The incident happened at around 10.45am on Saturday, November 12, on Thornhill Close in Port Erin.

 

Two large dogs, one of which was possibly a brown Labrador, approached the woman on the public footpath and caused her to fall.

 

She suffered extensive bruising and cuts to her face, hands and body.

 

Police say an adult male is helping the police with their enquiries but anyone who witnessed the incident, or who may be able to identify the dogs, is asked to contact PC Nick Willingham at Port Erin Police Station on 01624 832222 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
