Minister moves to allay Eurobond concerns

Treasury Minister Eddie Teare is to hold a meeting to try and reassure members of Tynwald the Manx government's investments are being closely monitored.

It follows the revelation in the House of Keys this week that ?2 million of public money had been lost on investments in Eurozone sovereign bonds.

Middle MHK Howard Quayle, who asked a series of questions on the subject during the sitting, says it's worrying turn of events (first part of audio file):
