Public reminded of reservoirs consultation

by isleofman.com 22nd November 2011

MEMBERS of the public are being reminded of a consultation about the future recreational use of the Island's reservoirs.

The Water and Sewerage Authority said it is committed to promoting reasonable access to the reservoirs for recreational purposes but says this must be weighed against the need for public safety and the protection of these assets.

It says it is seeking a sound evidence base on which to develop a recreational use policy and said the public's input into this is invaluable.

The consultation process will end on Friday, December 9 at 5pm.
