COASTAL erosion, hand baggage restrictions when flying and alcohol in supermarkets are just some of the topics which will be discussed in tomorrow's House of Keys sitting.
There are 13 questions for oral answer – four from South Douglas MHK Kate Beecroft and four from Middle MHK Howard Quayle.
Eight of the questions tabled will be directed at the Treasury Minister Eddie Teare MHK.
Mrs Beecroft will ask him to detail the industries that will be affected by the "serious and volatile" situation in the Eurozone in the long and short term and also if he will make it his policy to refund VAT on start up costs for new businesses who fall under the threshold for VAT registration.
Onchan MHK Zac Hall will ask Mr Teare about the possibility of the re-introduction of a reduced rate of road fuel duty for biodiesel produced on the Island.
Mr Quayle will ask the Treasury Minister three questions concerning investment managers, Eurozone sovereign bonds and how the treasury manages the "risk profile" of externally managed reserves to avoid losses whilst maximising return.
Michael MHK Alf Cannan will ask the Environment, Food and Agriculture Minister Phil Gawne MHK about coastal erosion between Glen Wyllin and Balleira in Kirk Michael.
Mrs Beecroft will also ask the Home Affairs Minister, Juan Watterson MHK, if he will make it his policy, as part of licensing conditions for supermarkets, that alcohol should be displayed in a separate area and have a separate till for purchasing.
John Houghton, the MHK for Douglas North, will ask Infrastructure Minister David Cretney about possible plans that Flybe has to impose further restrictions on hand baggage and whether the carrier has "imposed draconian measures" on passengers checking in on-line who fail to present a print out of their documentation at the check in desk.
There are two questions for written answer. Mr Quayle will ask the Treasury Minister what the treasury asset class splits for the government reserves are and Mr Cannan will ask the Social Care Minister, Chris Robertshaw MHK, about companies and charities that provide contracted care services to the Department of Social Care.
The House of Keys sitting will start at 10am tomorrow (Tuesday).
