by isleofman.com 21st November 2011

FANS of the TT Races will be able to get a different view of the track this year with the return of helicopter pleasure flights.

Regency Travel has teamed up with Elite Helicopters – the UK's biggest event pleasure flight specialist – to offer pleasure flights for TT 2012.

There will be three flights on offer - a five minute pleasure flight around Douglas and the coast, a 15 minute flight to Peel and the south of the Island and a 30 minute flight which will follow the TT circuit.

Bill Leach of Elite Helicopters said: "We are delighted to be bringing the flights back to the Isle of Man

"We will be using a six seated helicopter and really look forward to welcoming local residents and TT visitors onboard."

Richard Howarth from Regency Travel said: "The last time the flights were operated was five years ago. They proved to be very popular so, with Elite, we are pleased to be offering this experience again. Seeing the course and the Isle of Man from the air will be a special experience for all."

Prices will start at £40 for adults and £35 for children. For more information or to purchase a flight contact Regency Travel on 01624 694456 or book online at www.elitehelicopters.co.uk.
