The Russian Ambassador to the United Kingdom is visiting the Isle of Man this week.
His Excellency Alexander Yakovenko, who took over the position in January this year, is travelling over at the invitation of the Manx government.
Chief Minister Allan Bell says he is delighted Mr Yakovenko has chosen the Island for one of his first visits around the British Isles.
