A Christmas fair this weekend will help provide better medical facilities for people in the north of the Island.
The League of Friends of Ramsey Cottage Hospital has so far spent around 750,000 on improved services and better equipment for patients.
The fair, at Ramsey Town Hall this morning (Saturday), is one of the ways the group raises much needed funds.
Friends chairman Leonard Singer MHK says there will be more improvements at the hospital in the near future:
