Rodan re-elected Deputy Tynwald President

SPEAKER of the House of Keys Steve Rodan has been unanimously elected as the deputy President of Tynwald.

 

His nomination was approved this morning in Tynwald and returns him to the position he held previously under the former President Noel Cringle.

 

The morning session of Tynwald ended with the election of officials for the Public Accounts Committee: After an election the chairman was named as Graham Cregeen MHK. Two other candidates were nominated - Alf Cannan MHK (Michael) and Dudley Butt MLC.

 

Further committee appointments were due to be made later during the sitting.
