by isleofman.com 15th November 2011

THREE Apple laptops worth £1,600 have been stolen from Peel Clothworkers Primary School.

The white MacBook laptops were taken between 7pm on Saturday, November 12 and 9am on Sunday, November 13.

Police say the laptops are used by the school children for their school work and are a "valuable asset" to the school.

It is believed the thieves smashed two windows of a classroom at the back of the school before entering and taking the computers.

Anyone who has any information about the burglary or who saw anyone around the school at the times stated has been asked to contact PC Traviss at Peel Police Station on 01624 842208.
