Tynwald is today (Tuesday) being asked to investigate allegations of corruption within local government.
The court will be urged to appoint a select committee to examine claims by Rae Hamilton, the former tenant of Onchan Squash Club.
He presented a petition on Tynwald Day urging politicians to explore the responsibilities of local authorities and declarations of interest.
It relates specifically to former chairman of Onchan commissioner Brian Stowell who was the subject of a smear campaign during the recent House of Keys general election, and has been criticised by squash players, unhappy at the loss of facilities for the sport in Onchan Park.
He says he would welcome an investigation and believes it is long overdue:
