by isleofman.com 14th November 2011

Onchan goes to the polls this week.

Five candidates will contest the two seats available on the board of the local commissioners.

Wednesday's by-election has been caused by the death of long-time politician Ray Kniveton and the resignation of Brian Stowell.

The five candidates are finance sector worker Rob Callister, retired accounts administrator James Corrin, accountant John Quaye, port security officer Robin Turton and disability awareness trainer Kathryn Williams.

All five candidates will be appearing on Manx Radio's Agenda programme, at 6.30pm today (Monday).
