The role of the millions of horses who perished in World War I has been remembered.
Members of the London Manx Society laid a wreath at a war memorial dedicated to animals, in London's Park Lane.
Eight million war horses are thought have been killed serving alongside men and women during World War I, while countless donkeys and mules requisitioned from across the British Isles also perished.
The message on the society's wreath was written in both English and Manx Gaelic, and spokesman Alistair Kneale read the translation:
