The Island prepares to remember

Remembrance services are taking place across the Island on Sunday in memory of those who fought and died in wars.

Many people have memorials but some, for one reason or another, disappeared entirely.

There were thousands who could never return home from the battlefield and in some cases there's complete mystery surrounding what did happen.

The curator of the Manx Aviation and Military Museum, Ivor Ramsden, said there were many people who vanished, including here on the Island:
