MANX National Heritage is holding a number of Christmas workshops to help members of the public transform their home in time for the festive period.
A traditional Christmas wreath making workshop will be held at the House of Manannan on Saturday, November 19, and a traditional table centre workshop will be held on Saturday, November 26.
Both of these workshops will be run by florist Heidi Baker who runs The Flower Studio in St Johns.
She is the only Manx florist to be registered under the 'Fair Flower, Fair Plants' initiative which encourages the sale of flowers and plants that have been cultivated in a sustainable manner - a policy which Manx National Heritage says it is pleased to support.
Margaret Jones, site manager at the House of Manannan said: "Whether you are already familiar with flower arranging or you have never touched a flower before you will definitely create a lovely display to take home and be proud of."
Both workshops will take place between 2pm and 4pm and cost £30 per person including all materials and festive refreshments. Pre booking is required and tickets are available from the House of Manannan.
There will also be a festive felting workshop for children which will take place on Saturday, December 10, from 10am to 4pm. This is suitable for children aged eight and over. Tickets cost £7.50 and children will be able to create a felt Christmas decoration to take home.
Manx National Heritage will also be holding a Christmas Craft Fair at the House of Manannan on Saturday, December 3.
This will showcase locally made produce and there will be traditional festive music, refreshments and a Santa's grotto.
The Peel lantern parade will also be judged on the same day at 3.30pm.
Entry to the Christmas Fair costs £3 per adult and £1.50 for children and Friends of Manx National Heritage.
