Cyclist suffers serious injuries after bus collision

A CYCLIST suffered serious injuries yesterday (Thursday) after a road traffic collision with a double-decker bus.

 

It happened at around 2.40pm near to the junction of Gladstone Way and Close Thunnag in Ramsey. 

 

The cyclist was taken to Noble's Hospital suffering from head and shoulder injuries. The driver and occupants of the bus were uninjured.

 

Police closed the road for approximately two and a half hours while they conducted enquiries at the scene.
