No bail for GBH accused

A 30-year-old Castletown man accused of inflicting grievous bodily harm with intent has been told he won't be granted bail.

Mathew Smith-Williams, of Malew Street was remanded in custody until December 6 after an application for bail was turned down.

The offence was allegedly committed during an incident in the centre of Castletown last month.

Robert Lee Quinney remains in hospital with serious head injuries.
